Lead flavour creation across sweet and savoury briefs for Asia-Pacific customers, from first concept to matched, costed, production-ready formulas.

Build your career at a Singapore flavour house.
VKA has been making flavours for the region since 1971. Operating today as Advanced Flavors & Fragrances Pte. Ltd. (VKAFF), we create the taste in beverages, snacks, dairy and halal-certified lines for customers across Asia-Pacific. Joining us, you will find there is much to learn and people to learn it from: flavourists, application technologists, QA scientists and sales teams, all under one roof.

Own the paperwork that lets our flavours ship: specifications, declarations, halal and food-safety documentation across Asia-Pacific markets.
Run the sensory programme that keeps our creation honest: panels, difference tests and consumer feedback loops across our flavour portfolio.
Run the compounding floor: schedule, staff and verify daily flavour production to food-grade standards with full batch traceability.
Compound flavours hands-on: accurate weighing, clean transfers and disciplined batch records on a modern food-grade production floor.
Keep hundreds of raw materials and finished flavours moving: purchasing, planning and import-export across our Asia-Pacific network.

Lead the technical programme across creation, application and quality: set direction, develop people and keep our science ahead of the briefs.
Keep the numbers clean across a manufacturing business: AP/AR, costing support, GST and month-end close for our Singapore entities.

You will learn at the bench on live customer projects, guided by senior flavourists and QA scientists.

Application technologists take each customer brief from the bench to a blind tasting panel, usually through several rounds. Precision matters at every step, and feedback is shared openly at every level.

Our QA team is involved from raw material to final release, and the person who signs off a lot has usually tasted it. Food safety and regulatory standards apply to everything we ship.
We match every profile to the customer’s target and keep working until it is right.
Tasting panels are blind and feedback is honest at every level.
Senior flavourists train junior colleagues at the bench, on live customer projects.
Food safety and regulatory discipline in everything we ship.
Interns and fresh graduates at VKA work on real briefs at their own bench, with a senior colleague reviewing their work daily. If you are studying food science, chemistry or a related field in Singapore or Malaysia, write to us about a placement.
Graduate joiners rotate through application, QC and regulatory in their first year before settling into a permanent team.
